Gondolas have been around since the early days of railroading. Initially, they were used to carry coal, but have gone on to carry all kinds of products and materials. As time has passed, the type and size of gondolas has increased. This particular type of car was introduced in the 1960's and many examples remain in service today. They are often seen in scrap service, as well as tie load service. The corrugated sides give the car added strength and durability.
This release includes six schemes with two road numbers available for each.
