Introducing the Baggage-Horse Car in N-scale. They are actually a family of heavyweight cars called Baggage-Horse, some rebuilt into Baggage-Express cars, and others called them Horse-Express cars.  The Baggage-Horse Express cars were used in the lucrative trade in transporting the finest thoroughbreds nationwide ... Man o' War, War Admiral, Seabiscuit, Citation, Kelso. The railroads carried them in specials or ran them in premier train service due to the need to get the horses quickly, safely, and in sound health to the next racing venue. In service, these cars were interchanged with other railroads to provide seemless transportation from one race event to the next - destinations such as: Santa Anita, Belmont, Churchill Downs, Del Mar, Arlington Park, Bay Meadows.
