Prior to the widespread use of covered hoppers for bulk grain transport, many railroads employed modified box cars. The doors would be modified to allow loading through the top section of the door on either side. Even after the introduction of covered hoppers, some railroads continued to make use of these cars on some branch lines. Today these cars are a thing of the past, as covered hoppers rule the rails in grain transport.
This release includes six schemes with three road numbers available for each.
