Dear HO Modelers, we just received more information re "The Canadian". Here are the details:

Dear Rapido Dealer,   I hope all is well!  Attached please find the full details on The Canadian.

Please note that the dealer discount for this train is less than nornal  This is not a change to 

Rapido's overall pricing policy; the shorter discount is only on this limited edition train.  The 

rest of our product line still retains the regular discount.  However, in order to make The 

Canadian affordable to as many customers as possible, we had to reduce the dealer discount.   

I strongly suggest you send your orders in continually, as you get them.  I had no idea the 

demand for this train would be so high, and we're only making 2000 trains.  As I write this -- 

two days after the unofficial announcement in the Rapido Telegraph newsletter -- we've 

already sold 10% of the run.   Please note that because of the high price point of this product, 

many dealers will exceed their credit limit with us.  A deposit will be required. 

The next edition of the Telegraph will have progress updates on all of our ongoing projects: 

Baggage cars, Dayniters, N scale cars, Steam Generator Cars, etc.
