Dear N Scale Modelers Kato has announced a new road number for the Penncy GG1. Here are the details:

The GG1 represented speed, power and gracefulness. It was one of the most popular locomotives on the PRR. It pulled the “Broadway Limited” and many other famous and not so famous passenger trains in addition to pulling freight.

Kato is offering this additional locomotive so that you might re-live some of the history and magic of this very impressive "GIANT" electric locomotive and operate both your freight service and passenger service at the same time.

- Able to go through a 249mm (9 ¾”) radius S-Curve

- Powerful mechanism able to pull a full Broadway Ltd. Consist up a 3% grade
