The three-compartment ACF 3560 Center Flow Covered Hopper was designed for the transport of high-density dry bulk ladings of 50 – 60 pounds per cubic foot. About 2,214 cars were built from 1967 – 1972. This Center Flow Covered Hopper transported a wide variety of commodities, including salt, fertilizer, starch, bauxite, and clay.

Note To Modelers: Canpotex & Potash Corp have not in the past, and presently do not operate this car. They operate 4550 cu ft 4 bay cylindrical hoppers, 5162 cu ft 3 Bay Hoppers, and newer NSC 4275 & 4300 cu ft 3 bay covered hoppers built specifically for Potash service. While the paint schemes on these cars may be correct for current Canpotex & Potash Corp cars, the cars are completely incorrect for the prototype. Correct versions of this car are available from North American Railcar.

This release includes an undecorated version and six schemes with two road numbers available for each.
