Tank cars have been around for much of the history of railroading. They have grown in capacity and types over the years into a large variety of cars. Many liquid and gas products are transported by tank cars. One such commodity is various types of acids. These can be used in by themselves, in the production products, or as parts of finished products. Due to their inherent corrosive nature, they require special cars to handle them.
This particular type of car was introduced in the 1970's and remains in service today. They are used by railroads, leasing companies and private operators all over North America.
This release includes and undecorated version along with six schemes with three road numbers available for each.
