3 Bay ACF Center Flow Covered Hoppers
Pacific Western Rail Systems is pleased to announce our first PWRS Exclusive Micro-Trains N Scale Union Pacific sets. The cars in these sets will be factory weathered to simulate cars that have seen years of service and feature faded, worn off lettering and significant rust. The processes and techniques to factory produce such an effect has only recently become possible.
These 3 Bay Centerflow Covered Hoppers, with round hatches, are painted light gray with the "Union Pacific" black lettering removed to create a ghost image with. Gravity fed, these hoppers are 100 tons, measure 55' 5" long, and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. They were built by American Car & Foundry.
These cars will be available exclusively from Pacific Western Rail Systems in two 4-Packs. One 4-Pack will have only Union Pacific on the side, while the other will feature both Union Pacific & the UP herald. Within the pack of 4 cars, two car will have black reporting marks and reporting numbers, and two cars will have ghost reporting marks and reporting numbers.
As with all Pacific Western Rail Systems Exclusive Micro-Trains products, this is a one time production run of these cars. These schemes and road numbers will never be produced again.
