The four axle EMD GP7 was built from 1949 to 1954. It had a EMD 567B 1,500 horsepower prime mover. These locomotives were used by many railroads for passenger service at first, but then for freight too. They went on to long careers with both their original owners and second hand owners. Even today, examples of this locomotive remain in service.

This release includes and undecorated version along with five schemes with two road numbers for each. Each decorated unit is available in DCC Ready and DCC w/Sound versions.
